Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2010
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2010 will start on 26 December and will be conducted on the waters of Sydney Harbour, the Tasman Sea, Storm Bay and the Derwent River. Over the past 65 years, the Rolex Sydney Hobart has become an icon of Australia's summer sport, ranking in public interest with such national events as the Melbourne Cup horse race, the Davis Cup tennis and the cricket tests between Australia and England. No yachting event in the world attracts such huge media coverage - except, of course, the America's Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race - than does the start on Sydney Harbour. And the others only happen every four or five years.

Cape to Cape Mountain Bike Challenge 2010
Some of the world's leading Mountain Bike competitors travel to Western Australia for the 175km race. From Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, touring through the towns of Hamelin Bay, Margaret River and Cowaramup the race finishes at Cape Naturaliste.

Margaret River Pro, 2010
This year the Margaret River Pro will see the world's best male and female surfers including two times world champion Mick Fanning take on the powerful waves of Surfer Point Margaret River Western Australia. Margaret River is a worldwide renowned wine making region and boasts of many international awards for its perfectly balance red and white wines but what makes the southwest of Western Australia so special is its powerful surf generated by the massive storms created in the roaring forties south of the Australian continent. These giant storms generate massive ocean going swells that travel long distance to the WA coast, and then unload on the ancient limestone reef of Surfer Point forming perfect Hawaiian size waves that test the performance and equipment of competing surfers.

Santos Tour Down Under 2010 Highlights
Highlights from the first stop on the world cycling calendar, the Santos Tour Down Under - Adelaide. Catch Lance Armstrong's last professional race on international soil, outside of the USA. The Santos Tour Down Under was first held in 1999 and has grown year on year to become the biggest cycling race in the southern hemisphere. The week-long event brings the top ProTour professional cycling teams to race on the streets of Adelaide and regional South Australia each January. Up for grabs are important UCI ProTour points and the Santos Tour Down Unders Ochre Leaders Jersey.
