The power seems to have been reduced on this Australian Network service since early June, this is why those of you with subscription cards from this network maybe having problems, so from what we see here, a 1.6m dish will no longer be able to see the service. A 2m dish or above is required.

If you have issues with this please take it up with Australia Network or simply get us to install a bigger dish for you, but this is not for free of course.

For those who missed it or could not read - the satellite refereed to above is Intelsat 7/10 at 68.5e (not the IS8 service)

What are these guys at Australia Network playing at? We suspect even with a 3.2m dish like we have here you will still have weak signals.

So our 2.4m dish no longer has any signal at all on the IS7/10 Australia Network Service. Talk about shoot themselves in the foot here.

AN say it was a satellite operator issue and they are back as normal on a 1.65m dish and we confirm we have it back here too.
